Yeah I know about QT's QString.arg and I think it totally sucks ;)
(Where the rest of QT is a really nice toolkit)

Such features tend to suck for the person who writes quick and dirty program but are invaluable for proper i18n support. If you want quick and dirty - that's perl and php, not pythong and qt...
