He's basing his arguments on TIOBE though. It's impossible to get good numbers, but I'd like to think my approach with LangPop.com is at least a little bit better. I mean... Logo and Delphi?!

Delphi is in the top 10 because of the programming language Oxygene (formerly Chrome), a port of Delphi to .Net. Around the time Google released a web browser, searches for "Chrome programming" increased dramatically.
I leave the relevance of TIOBE's other statistics as an exercise for the reader.
