Linux NetworX Hires Former Lineo/Novell Exec

Linux NetworX Hires VP of Engineering, Director of Quality Assurance
& Director of Operations
Salt Lake City, June 19, 2002 ? Linux NetworX announces the addition of three
new management positions to further improve product quality and to help
prepare the company for future growth. Joining Linux NetworX are Kim Clark,
vice president of engineering, Robert Fredere, director of quality assurance
and William Gahan, director of operations. In these positions, Clark, Fredere
and Gahan focus on improving processes to ensure the company's clustered
computers are the highest quality.
As vice president of engineering, Kim Clark leads the research and
development efforts of ClusterWorX, ICE Box and other clustering products.
Clark brings years of experience as both director of engineering and vice
president of engineering for Novell and Lineo, an embedded Linux company. His
technical capability and expertise with large project development processes
ensures Linux NetworX products meet customer needs and remain cutting edge.
Robert Fredere, director of quality assurance, works to continually improve
quality by collecting, organizing, analyzing and reporting data gathered
throughout the company's processes. Quality Systems are then created or
modified and employees are trained to these new standards to ensure customers
are receiving the highest quality clustering products available.
In his new position as director of operations, William Gahan heads the
company's efforts to build reliable and cost-effective cluster computing
products. Gahan focuses on building the company's operating infrastructure to
sustain future growth and guarantee customer satisfaction.

About Kim Clark, Vice President of Engineering
Kim Clark heads the research and development efforts of ClusterWorX, ICE Box
and other clustering products. While managing the Linux NetworX hardware and
software engineering teams, he ensures a clear direction for product
development. Mr. Clark's impressive resume includes work formerly as director
of engineering at Novell over its $1 billion NetWare product line, and vice
president of engineering at Lineo, an embedded Linux system software company.
Mr. Clark's clustering background began while at Novell when he established
the development of its clustering products. His technical capability and
expertise with large project development processes ensures Linux NetworX
products will meet the needs of its customers. Mr. Clark received a Bachelor
of Science in electrical engineering, minor in mathematics and minor physics
from Utah State University.
About Robert W. Fredere, Director of Quality Assurance
As Director of Quality Assurance, Robert Fredere likes to think of himself as
a representative of the customer, working for Linux NetworX. He works to
continually improve quality by collecting, organizing, analyzing and
reporting data gathered throughout the company's processes. This approach
allows Linux NetworX to thoroughly evaluate its processes and set up systems
for continued improvement. He has worked as a consultant setting up ISO-9000
systems for manufacturing and engineering companies. His experience with
manufacturing and engineering quality systems extends to Commercial as well
as Military contracts. Mr. Fredere has a proven track record of improving
product success rates for companies such as Control Data Corporation,
Westronix, Tandy Electronics, Navtech Industries and World Wireless Com.
About William A. Gahan, Director of Operations
