Losses at Mandriva

I wonder if the adms at Mandriva deciding to fire prominent figures can imagine the scale of the negative image they send to potential customers and especially to software contributors, testers, etc.
As user of Mandriva since about 1999, this signal is showing me that, unless miracle, after 2009.0 I must plan to go elsewhere.
