Interview videos from the Kernel Summit

The Linux Foundation has produced a whole pile of video interviews with kernel developers from this year's Kernel Summit. Short 5-10 minute interviews with 15 different kernel developers are available. You can watch interviews with Linus Torvalds, Ted Ts'o, Greg Kroah-Hartman, and many others including LWN Executive Editor Jonathan Corbet. Videos are available in both Ogg and Flash formats.

The Chris Mason Ogg link is broken. It has /flv/ in the path instead of /ogg/

Please. I don't really like this tendency of everything from manuals, screen shots and interviews to be all on video format these days. It's much more convenient to read most of those things.

Videos are great for some things but the "I have a video camera and I'm gong to use it" attitude does seem to have taken over somewhat.

Linus seemed tired or maybe hung over :)

Linus's voice and accent

I have in my possession the famous "Hello, this is Linus Torvalds, and I pronounce Linux as LEEN-uhks." recording. Just to set the record straight, when was that recording made? Because I'm attempting to convince some friends that Linus's accent has been thoroughly assimilated into the American culture in which he now finds himself living...

Thanks in advance. And this isn't meant as any insult on Linus or his accent (or lack thereof)--I'm certain that if I were to move to a non-English-speaking country and learn their language, I'd certainly start speaking like the locals! :)
