Did CUSE make it? Because if I have to suffer another six months of crappy OSS emulation, I'll... I'll... suffer in silence I guess.

You get to suffer, I think. As far as I can tell, CUSE wasn't even seriously proposed for merging this time around. I've not seen much activity on that front for a while.
