I really don't want Linux to be an equal player, if it means being dragged down to their level.

Where are builds for x86_64, PowerPC and other architectures? Where is the source so that we can properly audit it and rebuild it with the latest code analysis and stack protection features, deal with bugs as they arise, and optimise it for our platforms?

Throwing binary crap over the wall is just so 20th Century. Nothing to see here; move along.

Gnash 0.8.4 is out, btw — although I've stopped following it since they switched to some obscure version control system. Life's too short to deal with projects that go out of their way to be difficult to deal with.
