Building the Debian archive with GCC 4.4

Martin Michlmayr reports on his efforts to build roughly 8000 packages from the Debian archive using GCC 4.4. His intent is to find any problems in GCC 4.4 before the release. "In total, I filed 28 new bugs and ran into 7 known issues. 64% of the bugs I filed have already been fixed and many of those that are still open have already received some attention.
