-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2008-7748 2008-09-11 11:01:59 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : gnome-packagekit Product : Fedora 9 Version : 0.2.5 Release : 2.fc9 URL : http://www.packagekit.org Summary : GNOME PackageKit Client Description : packagekit-gnome provides session applications for the PackageKit API. There are several utilities designed for installing, updating and removing packages on your system. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This fedora-release update introduces a new set of Fedora Updates and Updates Testing repo definitions. These new definitions point to new URLS for our update content signed with a new key. This update also provides Fedora 8 and 9's new package signing keys. This update is a transitional update to direct users at the rest of the updates in the new locations. It will be superseded by further fedora-release updates at a future date. The Fedora 9 update also includes new versions of PackageKit and gnome-packagekit to better handle importing of our new key. If you are using PackageKit it is recommended that you reboot after installing this update so that PackageKit can get a fresh look at the new repodata from the new repo definitions. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Enabling_new_signing_key for more details. This update adds the ia64 secondary arch key as well as arranges GPG keys by arch and refers to them by arch in yum repo configs. This allows the secondary arch key to only be used on secondary arches and allows the fedora-release package to continue to be noarch. Also this update changes the commented out baseurl from download.fedora.redhat.com to download.fedoraproject.org. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Mon Sep 8 2008 Richard Hughes <rhughes@redhat.com> - 0.2.5-2 - Fix a critical GType initialisation problem. * Sat Sep 6 2008 Richard Hughes <rhughes@redhat.com> - 0.2.5-1 - New upstream version, only bugfixes. * Mon Aug 4 2008 Robin Norwood <rnorwood@redhat.com> - 0.2.4-2 - Fix Source0 URL. * Thu Jul 31 2008 Richard Hughes <rhughes@redhat.com> - 0.2.4-1 - New upstream version, only bugfixes. * Thu Jul 31 2008 Robin Norwood <rnorwood@redhat.com> - 0.2.3-9 - Re-apply the gnome-packagekit-enable-kde patch - rhbz#437048 * Mon Jul 28 2008 Richard Hughes <rhughes@redhat.com> - 0.2.3-8 - Silence output of update-desktop-database and update-mime-database * Mon Jul 21 2008 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadllah@gmail.com> - 0.2.3-7 - Rebuild against new PackageKit to pick up correct dep * Tue Jul 15 2008 Richard Hughes <rhughes@redhat.com> - 0.2.3-6 - Add intltool to the BR. * Tue Jul 15 2008 Richard Hughes <rhughes@redhat.com> - 0.2.3-5 - Correct the name of the executables called in system-install-packages.
