it shows that it is foremost a corporation with responsibilities to its shareholders. When those responsibilities conflict with the transparency we have come to expect from free software projectsespecially with regard to security issuesthat transparency must be set aside.
What this says to me is that getting your engineering from an organization that isn't allowed to put the customer first isn't such a great idea. Debian could handle this better because of the independence that Fedora obviously doesn't have. Good engineering comes when the team has freedom of action.
