Jake,

I noticed you were a member of the "Proceedings Formatting Team". The (draft) Individual
Papers are available in PDF. Is there any chance that the final papers will also be made
available (for instance at http://ols.fedoraproject.org/OLS/Reprints-2008/) as ordinary
webpages?

I was a pretty minor part of the team, just helping out on editing a few papers. John
Lockhart did the lion's share of the work, along with a few others, and he was talking about
ways to turn the TeX into web pages, so it may be in the works.

There are no current plans to generate HTML versions of the papers, although any volunteer
conversions could certainly be posted at ols.fedoraproject.org.

I, for one, am still burned out on papers after the 500+ pages from this year... and PDF->HTML
or LaTeX->HTML, with figures, is quite a project. (And someone will likely ask for prior
years at some point, too.)

My current plans are to set up the 2009 area, team up to make the 2008 source available, and
then step back from things. Note that editorial/formatting volunteers will be in high demand
from Feb-July, 2009, for all interested.

Oh, and the "draft" was an error on my part, since corrected. Those are the final versions of
the papers, as published. (The wayward 'draft' also appeared in the index for GCC 2006/2007,
and is an artifact of the script used to generate the index.)

Sorry for any confusion.
