I don't expect to have a Pontiac installed on my computer. But I do expect to have both a web browser and a DBMS installed on my computer(s). What will the installed "package" be called? If I say to someone "quick, get those security to updates to firebird installed", what will the response be? Maybe they should have called it "Linux". You'll never get a kernel confused with anything else ;-).
