As part of Mozilla Corporation's ongoing stability and security update
process, Firefox 3.0.1 is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux

We strongly recommend that all Firefox users upgrade to this latest
release. If you already have Firefox 3.0, you will receive an
automated update notification within 24 to 48 hours. This update can
also be applied manually by selecting "Check for Updates?" from the
Help menu.

Note: All Firefox 2.0.0.x users are encouraged to upgrade to Firefox
3.0.1 by downloading it from http://getfirefox.com/.

Firefox 3.0.1 released

Posted Jul 18, 2008 16:20 UTC (Fri) by Tuxie (guest, #47191) [Link]

Worth noting: The Linux version of FF 3.0.1 no longer crash on every second Youtube video! I
have had 3.0.1 running for about 24 hours now, and watched maybe 30 clips on Youtube, and not
a single crash!
