Gentoo Linux 2008.0 released

The developers have to be commended for this release.

It is good that they had the guts to admit it was unwise to use GRUB-legacy (during 2008.0
beta) and switched back to ISOLINUX as live cd boot loader. They decided what was in best
interest for their users and not to run after shiny features.

Unfortunately, one thing slipped through their QA process, gnome-session cannot be emerged
unless tcp-wrappers is recompiled first (bug 225337).
