Hi devel,
Over the past couple of months, I've been working on creating a simple
but powerful hosting service for Mercurial. I'm writing here to
announce an open beta amongst the developers and whoever read this
list, although I would like to explicitly ask *not* to spread this
around just yet, so please don't go and post it to reddit. :-)
It's called Bitbucket, and it sports a feature-set much like Github,
although we've taken some different twists and turns along the way.
It's live now, you can go sign up and play around with it on http://bitbucket.org/
Expect a few rough corners, and remember that the point of this is to
improve the site before we announce it to the general public.
Bugs and suggestions can be reported either directly to me, the list,
or our public tracker on http://bitbucket.org/jespern/bitbucket/
issues/. We also have an IRC channel on freenode, #bitbucket.org
Feedback is much appreciated, hope you like it.
