I can't tell you how refreshing that is - a vendor who wants to help, not just idly sit by
until linux has enough market share to entice them to participate. It sounds like these folks
are willing to work to help create the conditions that all the other vendors are merely
waiting for.

There is no vendor 'who wants to help', there's always a vendor who sees a market potential. 

Being the first to set the pillars of that market potential is one of the main ways of
advancing competitors.
