I like this sort of thing because it makes it easier to tell were they are coming from.
To them:
Linux != Open Source,
Linux != Freedom.
For them Linux is a platform to launch competitive products. Some may be closed source, some
may not. They are more interested in doing what seems easier, more profitable, and more inline
with the larger computer world.
This is fine. It's useful information since it gives you a good idea of their goals and on
what sort of things they are useful for and you can trust them with.
