One of the popular workflows seems to be keeping seperate patches in different (mutually conflicting) feature branches and then resolving those conflicts in an integration branch, which leads to a source package. I don't know whether dropping a working and useful patch series is feasable somewhere in the workflow, as I do not use DVCSs to maintain my packages myself. Michael
