[security-announce] SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 - Service Pack 1 and 2 parallel maintenance

Hi folks,

As you might have noticed we have released SUSE Linux Enterprise 10
Service Pack 2 this week (for both Server and Desktop, and also SDK).

With the release of SLE 10 Service Pack 2 the old SLE10 Service Pack 1
now enters a 6 month parallel maintenance period.

Service Pack 1 now until mid-November 2008 still receives:
	- Security Updates
	- Maintenance Updates
	- and L3 Support

This 6 month overlap period is only intended to be a Service Pack 2
migration and deployment help. It does not require any additional
subscriptions.
