Welte v. Skype going to trial

Skype is owned by E-bay, isn't it?

If so, someone should try to open channels to the top level management of that company, get
them to call off the rabid lawyers in their Skype division. 

Don't E-bay's servers run Linux? If Skype is in violation of the GPL, couldn't it shut down
their entire business, not just Skype?
