I don't want to seem too cynical but untill I see that this isn't another grab at embrace and
extend, another way of integration to make you dependent on MS products and see actual value
here, I'll say this is just another case of embrace and extend and another way of making you
locked into their platform.

I agree with others here. If the ISO/OOXML fiasco has taught us anything it is that M$ is
incapable of competing on a level playing field.
