Considering CVS's longevity, I expect SVN to have a healthy (if boring?) life ahead for large
corporate projects. Many big companies are stuck with expensive Perforce licenses but like the
centralized server architecture (for admin and backup). SVN is a good alternative for them.
The SVN team should focus on making it an even better alternative. SVN and git solve different
problems and I hope the SVN team is not derailed by chasing the shiny new world of DVCS.
