Parent article: A Linux Driver Project status report

I think some of the devices listed in the Wiki pages are actually supported. But the users
just couldn't figure out how or are using an old kernel. The listing is a bit unstructured. It
would be nice to have some structured information on each of the devices. Like PCI ID, USB
IDs, kernel version tested etc.

It's a wiki, if you feel you can structure the information better, please do so :)

Also, if there is information on there that is obsoleted by newer drivers in newer kernel
versions, please feel free to remove it.

Not that I know how to structure it, but there's value in having a list of kernel versions
that added support for devices, because otherwise people will find that there is a version of
the kernel that doesn't support their device, and no entry for it on the page, and add it.
Maybe if the wiki supports source text that doesn't get rendered, the source text should have
all of the devices that have ever been listed, with ones that are now supported hidden with a
label saying what happened to them.
