Inkscape 0.46 released

I'm a huge Inkscape fan, I've been using it over the last 12 months, and building from the dev
source for a large chunk of it. The amount of features continually getting pumped into it is
quite phenomonal, and imo the description of it as an "exciting project" is very understated.

I'd be curious to know if anyone could give me an indication of how the Inkscape 0.46
featureset compares to the latest (or even a recent version of) Adobe Illustrator? I'd
appreciate any general comparisons of other areas of the two as well if anyone can provide.
