If you're still looking, look into elinks. I use it for 90% of my private web browser usage and in comparison to lynx it's not crippled wrt to modern web standards (it supports frames, tabbed browsing, SSL) has all the required usability features (download manager, powerful bookmark manager) and is very efficiently controlled by keyboard.
