AbiWord v2.6.0 released
AbiWord 2.6.0 is out. See the release notes for a long list of new features, including wider language support, Gnumeric integration, collaborative real-time editing and, inevitably, an OOXML import filter.

The collaborative real time editing is very impressive. We used the XMPP back-end.

It appears they support OOXML, but not ODF ...

Not to sound like \., but from TFA (or the F. release notes....): # A massive amount of work on all of our popular import and export filters, most notably the OpenDocument filter
