Description:
 [b]LilyKDE[/b] is a set of tools to integrate the
LilyPond music typesetter into KDE.

It currently consists of:
*a Kate plugin that can run LilyPond for you,
embedding a PDF preview right into Kate and other
nice things.
*A textedit:// service so you can click on the
notes in the preview (or any other PDF viewer) and
have Kate jump to the correct position
*Powerful LilyPond syntax highlighting (already
part of KDE)
*An icon and mimetype for *.ly files

LilyKDE depends on KDE 3.5.x, Python, PyQt, PyKDE
and Pate. The links are on the homepage and in the

 0.4.7: New print action; actions can be disabled
in settings GUI
0.4.6: Bug-fix release. Stability improvements (on
my system Kate sometimes crashed or hung on exit
due to some weird Python-Qt Signal interaction),
fix make install fix not building about.py and
make install does not alter existing files anymore
(like it did with katefilettyperc, so  LilyKDE is
easier to package for distributors)
0.4.5: New command to (de)hyphenate lyrics text
using dictionaries of OpenOffice.org, Scribus,
KOffice, etc. Simple settings GUI to configure
paths.
