Did you check main/ and contrib/ and non-free/ too? There's ~19GB in there...

Yes - I know. Running 2008.0 at the moment on my desktop. But nevertheless, Ubuntu/Debian have about 50% more programs, and there are quite a few that Mdv do not have. After all, the point of the repository should be universality - searching rpmdrake is only really useful if you know that, if rpmdrake doesn't contain what you want, you can stop looking.
