Join EFF at the 17th Annual Pioneer Awards at ETech

Ceremony in San Diego Honors Mitchell Baker and the Mozilla
Foundation, Michael Geist, and Mark Klein

San Diego - Please join the Electronic Frontier Foundation
(EFF) for the 17th Annual Pioneer Awards, presented in
conjunction with the O'Reilly Emerging Technology
Conference in San Diego. The ceremony will be held at 7:15
p.m., March 4th, in the Marina Ballroom of the San Diego
Marriott Hotel and Marina.

The 2008 winners of EFF's Pioneer Awards are the Mozilla
Foundation and its Chairman Mitchell Baker, University of
Ottawa Professor Michael Geist, and AT&T whistleblower Mark
Klein.  Michael Robertson -- founder and CEO of MP3.com,
Linspire, MP3Tunes and Gizmo5 -- will give the awards'
keynote address: "What to Expect When You're Expecting...To
Be Sued."

TCHO, a new chocolate company and a Platinum Sponsor for
the 2008 Pioneer Awards ceremony, will sample a "beta
release" of their dark chocolate during the event.
Attendees will be invited to taste two different formulas
and vote for their favorite.
