Funny, on OS X the problem is in the other direction: it keeps asking whether it should join a network I have joined before (my wireless router)

Clarification: I meant OS X's wireless subsystem, not NM. NetworkManager (as is currently in Rawhide) feels much more polished than the version in F-8, which was already quite good
