You can use parts of the old filename, information like the current date or even an mp3 tag or the colour depth of an image. Krename integrates into the Konqueror or Krusader filemanager ! Changelog: KRename 3.9.0 has been released today. It is the first development release of KRename for KDE4 (i.e. KDE4 is required to compile this version). Not everything is ported yet and this version has fewer features than the last KDE3 release. Most of the code has been rewritten and the missing bits will be added before the final release. The basics should be completely working in this release.
