I have to agree. After using UMTS for connecting my phone and laptop, I can't see myself going
back (especially since we don't have edge around here, and plain GPRS connections leave a lot
to be desired).

The question is, would a good coverage for 3rd generation technologies require that OpenMoko
release one model/continent (or something like that)? It seems to me that others (eg Motorola)
have succeeded in bringing it together in one phone, but maybe I've misunderstood?

Anyway, apart from that quibble - the new (and the old) Neo phone has me salivating. I would
really love to lay my hands on one. (Well, I have - and my friend had to wrestle me to the
ground to get it back. :)
