I have 683 packages installed on my machine. If a distributor is not going to provide
dependency resolution information, I might spend three hours resoling the dependencies
manually for each package update. Optionally, I have (potentially) 683 different people who
don't communicate with each other providing incongruent dependency information. How is this a
good thing?
