Version 0.7.14 of SBCL has been released. This version provides a better
implementation of SXHASH on simple bit vectors, no longer ignores type
declarations for special variables, and fixes a number of bugs and other
issues.
Development continues with three major branches in progress in the CVS
source tree: an improved PCL (CLOS implementation), a revised compiler and
multithreading support.
SBCL (Steel Bank Common Lisp) is a Common Lisp implementation forked from
CMU CL (CMU Common Lisp) which puts a greater emphasis on maintainability.
SBCL runs under Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Tru64 on x86, Alpha, MIPS, PPC
and SPARC CPUs.
