Hello Midgard Community.
Finally it is done. Midgard 1.4.3 is released and available for download
at the Midgard Website [1].

RedHat and Debian Packages will follow soon.
Changes since RC-2 include:
- - Fixes for the build process of Debian Packages
Changes since RC-1 include:
- - Fixes for the often-occuring SegFaults discovered by Piotras and
Nico Kaiser
- - More fixes to the default parameters of the packages, for "standard"
installations the defaults should work now every time
- - Parser fix for acciociative Arrays in HTML-Mode is confirmed to work
and is now included in the distribution.
- - Confirmed that the RC-2 works with PHP 4.2.x on a Debian unstable
box.
Changes from 1.4.3-RC-1
- - lots and lots of bugfixes
- - A new parser that resides in midgard-lib and works for everything
- - New data packages with Asgard 1.4.2
- - Default Parameters that should maximize backwards-compatibility for
all parts of the Midgard Framework.
This release does _not_ include:
- - mod_midgard-preparser, since there is at lease one blocking bug in
it
If you encounter any bugs, please report report them in the Midgard
Bugtracker [2].

Known bugs:
- - Repligard's CDATA Encoding (current default) fails, when texts
contain
the element ]]> and there are problems in the binary-safe mode of
Repligard (Bug #73)
- - There are still some segfaults around, which we couldn't really
track down yet.
- - Core Midgard is lacking some functions required for current NAdmin
Builds. You will find those patches on Midgards Download page in
the tar-file "mgd-nadmin-patches". They will go into 1.4.4 if there
are no problems with them (I don't think so).
If you have any comments about this release, you are welcome to send it
to the Midgard User Mailing [3] list or directly to me [4].
