To be fair, the MeshNetics module is very new and (apparently) not yet available in production quantities; the XBee OEM module they use just doesn't have that many features. So they need more extra hardware. Which needs to be assembled, tested, ... I'd hazard that building your own SquidBee nodes would be a tad cheaper than 130.
