To anyone who is curious to see what the new GTK config frontend looks like, I've taken a screenshot here showing off as much as I could. I only have a few critiques, but overall it's a pretty good first try. First of all, the N M Y columns should be check boxes and the check boxes for the uncheckable options (like you couldn't choose "Y" for a sound card module if sound itself is a module) should either be greyed out dynamically or removed dynamically. Secondly the text description area should not look like an editable text area. Also the iconless buttons (and even some of the icons that are there) leave a bit to be desired. But, like I said, a good first effort. Unfortunately I haven't played with the QT kconfig so I can't make a comparison. Maybe someone who has would be willing to post a comment about it here.
