Gnash and window managers

Gnash simply crashes IceWM every time. Your window manager is more resilient. If I understand correctly, Gnash tries to use a large image as its icon without providing a smaller fallback icon.

Fortunately, swfdec is getting more mature too, and the next version will drop dependencies on patent-problematic libraries by default, so we may see a wider adoption of swfdec in the distributions very soon, unless Gnash gets more friendly to window managers.

Gnash and window managers

And this is an ICEWM bug, not a Gnash bug. A window manager should not crash because an app asks it to use a huge icon.
