Why does it make Gobuntu a joke? If your goal is to create a completely free distro, then Firefox is sadly not an option. Blame Mozilla/Firefox which to the best of my knowledge created the stupid mess.

Someone already maintains "Firefox renamed minos some small bits". (G)ubuntu folks won't lend a hand there. The result? Gubuntu who will need Firefox will install it from standard Ubuntu repositories. What impact does this have on Firefox?
