Hi,
As someone pointed out not long ago, it's been some time since there's
been a usbutils update. This is basically just "lsusb", a very handy
utility for looking at the USB devices which are connected to Linux.
If you're reporting an issue with a USB device you may well be asked
to provide its "lsusb -v" listing.
Download this code from the linux-usb project at SourceForge.net:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=358...
Summary of changes:
- Updated usb.ids file (map devices IDs to names)
- Support compressed usb.id files (save 120 KB disk/flash!)
- Bugfixes (mostly for descriptor display)
In short, incremental improvements.
- Dave
