... and that is why governments are so keen on DRM; they want to use digital media as a "stalking horse" to control all use of all of our systems.

Governments are keen on DRM because our elected representatives are paid to be, it's nothing to do with Big Brother and everything to do with Mickey Mouse and friends. Same as invading Iraq is nothing to do with hating or helping Iraqis and everything to do with helping the arms and oil businesses.
