The Linux Driver Project takes off

Greg Kroah-Hartman announced the Linux Driver Project back in January, offering to write device drivers for interested companies for free. He got a lot of interest, but had a hard time finding the time to pull everything together. Greg has just announced that the situation has changed: "As of today, Novell is sponsoring me to work on this Linux driver project as my first priority. This means I will have the time and resources to commit to managing the different developers and driver projects as part of my daily job." The results from this can only be good.
