Dear LWN,
I thought your readers might be interested in taking the Zero Install survey:
http://0install.net/limesurvey/index.php?sid=75789&la...
Zero Install (as I'm sure you know) is a fully open source,
decentralised installation system, currently included in the Debian,
Ubuntu and Fedora distribution repositories (under the package name
"zeroinstall-injector").
It has a focus on security (installing programs and libraries without
executing any code within the packages), while still allowing
efficient sharing of libraries between programs and users. Its
home-page is:
http://0install.net
We'd like to know how people are currently using it, and what features
they'd like to see in future versions.
Thanks,
