User education is a dumb idea

We should stop pretending that user education will solve all our problems. People don't even want to be educated. We should design and implement systems that'll work for the uneducated and dumb and stay reasonably secure. It's not impossible.

Ranum's article is pretty interesting in this regard and I rather agree with him.
