Insurance companies most certainly do offer discounts for what they consider safe behavior, frequently refusing to insure projects that don't meet their standards. Leading actors often are not permitted to do their own stunts because of the requirements of the insurance companies, and in the US, "good driver discounts" are standard practice. If you're over 50 and want to buy life insurance, you'll be asked to get a medical exam, and the result will affect your rate.
