The Linux Foundation is pleased to issue an invitation to in-house
counsel for all of our members to participate in the Linux Foundation
Legal Summit on October 25 and 26, 2007. This collaborative workshop
will provide an opportunity for in-house counsel involved in shaping
member policies around open source or open standards issues to lend
their experience and expertise to the development of Linux Foundation
legal strategy.

Karen Copenhaver and Andy Updegrove, who serve as Linux Foundation
counsel, will host the two-day event at Choate, Hall and Stewart LLP in
Boston. They look forward to sharing their vision with your counsel at
the Summit and to working with your counsel in the implementation of
effective strategies to address the key legal issues facing the Linux
community today. This event is only open to Linux Foundation members. If
you have questions about the Summit, please contact Karen at
kcopenhaver@choate.com or Andy at andrew.updegrove@gesmer.com.
