Had Marvell actually promised to release a datasheet? As I understood it, the NDA was to allow the OLPC driver writers to talk to engineers at Marvell and get information from them, and there was no expectation that a public document would come out of this (aside from the possibly comprehensible driver code). It would be interesting to know whether the creation of this document was in response to a condition of the choice of component, or to a condition on the NDA, or just due to seeing the benefit of openness (i.e., if they release the datasheet, people buy their components and use them without a large support burden or contract negotiation).
