Thunderbird to form its own organization
While Firefox is a full-blown browser, which does everything you want
a browser to do, Thunderbird is not so feature-rich as E-mail client.
People apparently expect to get a PIM instead of just an E-mail client;
so the trend is towards PIMs like Kontact or Evolution in the Linux
world. Once KDE 4 is available on Windows, I'll suggest Kontact as free
PIM instead of suggesting Thunderbird+Lighting as today; on Linux, it's
my favorite, anyway.
