Anyone Remember MDQS?

Parent article: Apple buys cups

For awhile there, we used MDQS the Multi-Device Queueing System, written by BRL (Ballastic Research Lab [US tax $ at work]). It was designed to replace lpr and at, and I *think* one more, but it currently escapes me. It had the concept of what form was mounted on what printer(s), and to me, that was one of it's greatest features.

I've not seen it for a number of years, so it may well be dead, now.

Any others?

Danny
