OLS papers online
The papers accepted for the 2007 Ottawa Linux Symposium are available online. Whether or not you were at the event, the papers are a useful reference on the topics which were discussed.

The ext4 one was a very good read. I haven't kept that up to date on ext4 development because I considered it a waste of time, but it looks like they're actually looking pretty hard at some of the things that I'd need to seriously consider using it (eg dynamically allocating inodes).
